There can be a thousand ways of doing this but I feel the art direction got it right. More than anything it showed the beauty of the Amazon princess...the most beautiful face in statue form before Lynda Carter's. The body and color are in a classical way true to the character's origin and form...not overtly mascular, near masculine and alienating (New 52 costume) but feminine with a quiet sense of inner strength and spirit.

I am glad I waited long enough to have the opportunity to get a Wonder Woman that I dreamed of.

:-)

When I first saw it, I thought it was a bit awkward looking but I'm on board now and can see what they're going for. It's telling a story. A captured moment as you said portraying her mid-battle. There's plenty of Wonder Woman pieces on the market in "triumphant" poses. At least Yamato's team is mixing it up a little. More power to them for doing something different.

Anyone ever buy from Speculative Fiction? How is their customer service and returns policy? Do they ship to Canada?

Wow! Wonder Woman looks great!

It looks like I'll be heading over to Speculative Fiction to place my order for this piece and the exclusive Harley Quinn.

The face reminds me of Adrianne Palicki as Wonder Woman.

The face is stunning, and the paint job is a beauty. Puts me in a real quandary.
