Beautiful!
How big are Yamato's 1/6 scale statues compared to a Kotobukiya piece?

Whats up with pricing today?
250USD for a cheap looking PVC?
Or will it be resin?
P.S. Yamatos 1/6 scales are small compared to others. Its more like 1/7.

All the latest models have been resin.
I can only say about sizes with regards to Wei's statues (as he has said it in another thread): Wei's Greek God series are based on a 1:6 scale with the female figures being 6ft tall (1.83m). For the other figures he does, as they are based on average Asian sized models, a figure height of 5ft 4in (1.63m) has been used.
On the basis of XGAMER's photos, the detail if the sculpt for Yamato figures is more realistic and not exaggerated in many ways (ie female chest size/shape doesn't resemble a helium balloon, male muscles are not so defined that it looks as if the skin has been flayed off, etc.). Also the Yamato female figure's faces seem, to me, to be startlingly pretty. That is, to be honest, a very remarkable effect. It's hard enough to sculpt a face that looks human, let alone one that's pretty.
Regards,
Richard.

Its too housewife-like for me.
But Yamato has done good paintups lately.
So I dont think there will be many problems.
The problem on Yamato is really the the small woman they use for their 1/6 scales. So you get much base compared to the figure and its like 1/7 on other comapanies. I think its important to know. Especially for those who dont like smaller figures.

The Yamato 1:6 women statues are around 10"-11" tall compared to 1:6 men statues that are usually around 12" tall. But given men are usually taller then women it makes sense.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

I have no clue how Yamato manages to consistently produce the prettiest faces, but kudos to them for pulling it off. Wonder Woman looks like a keeper.
I'm itching to see their Batman.
