I defended eFX for some time after I got an amazing X-Wing studio scale replica. Then when they showed early work of the ESB Fett Hero helmet, I waited for another amazing replica.

Here I am now, couple years later, biker scout lid fiasco, customer's emails go unanswered, no customer service and they show the same models over and over and over and over and . . .

Kind of surprised they are still in business. I can see Disney dropping the hammer here shortly, they invested too much in this property to let stuff like this continue.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Don't get me wrong guys. I'm not an EFX hater, I have items from them and the TIE Fighter is in my top 5 collectibles I own. So their stuff is good. This is about the lack of communication, lack of customer service, lack of QC some times, the way they treat international customers with insane shipping costs, all the "qualities" that a licensed company shouldn't have.

Is it true that EFX won't put up any other Star Wars pre order items until after the Scout Trooper helmets ship ?

Honestly that's a better move for them. Would you preorder something when the scout hasn't shipped?

I've never ordered anything from EFX. I also read on another forum that the Scout helmets aren't even in production and that Bryan keeps stalling everyone who asks. After all all the recipients of the recent "free" Vader helmet waived their right to a refund for the scout helmet.
It wouldn't surprise me if that were the case. It just sucks for collectors who want decent replicas and have no where to turn besides custom RPF stuff or the super high end Prop Shop items.

If word about them having the R1 license is accurate, I give up

I'd be happier if it was them but we'll have to see. It could turn into an EFX/Anovos type situation where they both have licensing for crossover items (costumes / replicas).
