So in your view Captain Marvel will be about feminism as well if she portrayed as a strong woman?

I have no thoughts or opinions about that movie other than avoiding it because Brie Larson is in it.

Come on Gothamite that's not an answer!

I'm not saying the studio didn't hype it that way I just didn't think the movie really had any of that kind of a tone. Also I'm not saying it isn't fantastic if little girls felt empowered by seeing it. My little girl sure was. All I'm saying is people latch on to things and make them into something they really aren't. If WW was about feminism she wouldn't have left that high council meeting so fast when they gave her the boot. Besides how can she be fighting for equal rights when she was in every way superior to any of the men in the film? WW was as much about feminism as Black Panther will be about Black History. They're just comic book movies.

...now tell us why you don't like Brie!

What I have to ask is; why does it matter how others perceive these films? People see WW as a feminism film? Ok, cool. Black Panther as a symbol for progressive diversity? Awesome. Do others have to see them that way? Nope. So why is this even a debate?

You right Luminous, I'm tired of that nonsense anyway. I just hope it's good for us geeks.

Ps
I scored one! Such a cool cover.

I think the reason I'm so excited for this movie is I know nothing about black panther. Probably the first MCU movie I'm going into blind. It's a nice feeling!
