Prometheus Engineer statue (Viggiano studio)

Hey guys, the old thread for this is well buried and frankly a bit of a mess once I found it. This guy is shipping in a month so I figured now opinions have been very much spoken, a fresh new thread would be a good idea with pictures etc from the get go without the pages of non relevant stuff.

At first I had reservations about the leg pose in particular but this became a real yo yo piece for me and ultimately I have come to like it a lot, I love his dead eyes! I ordered and cancelled, but just couldn't stay away and found myself regularly coming back to look again. So I'm back on the wait list hoping it will convert as these start shipping next month, whether that will happen with the tiny ES (200) remains to be seen.

Also worth noting on page one, I've heard a lot of complaints about the EX helmet not being wearable. This Engineer statue is not based on the suit that the helmet would be included on, it is essentially his under layer. Maybe we'll get a full flight suited version of this guy down the line though that will include that switch out helmet, who knows... For now though, This guy is nicer than I and others gave it credit for imo.

Deleted scene from the movie showing the big guy speaking... Spoilers. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZLgw0jeu_-c

EDIT: New pictures because Photobucket got greedy...

The art director is responsible for all bad and cool poses.

This was one of my top 3 movies the year it came out. I just couldn't understand the hate that some exhibited towards it.

It got a decent RT score, all my friends and myself REALLY REALLY enjoyed it. Great Blu-ray as well. And it did very well at the box office.

So I just don't get the hate.

I can tell you what...after only an edition size of 200 for this.....you can bet you won't see another Prometheus anything. Maybe when Prometheus 2 comes out which Scott is working on now.

I agree, despite the idiotic crew, the film was great imo and one of the most beautifully shot films I've seen in years. I do hope you're wrong about there being no more Prometheus from SS though.

I love the film. Watched numerous times on Blu ray and was looking forward to collectibles.

Without flogging a dead horse the pose is just wrong. I'm not going to buy it just because it's the only statue out there of the Engineer.

Would have been better if they'd only give him one leg.
