I don't think it was a fake sell out . . . this sold out pretty quickly . . I just think they allow a buffer of maybe 10 pieces or so . . . then again maybe someone on flex pay couldn't afford it anymore and had to take the hit and cancel . . .

Agreed. A small ES and a great statue calls for a quick sellout. This one will be amazing in person

There are so few of the regulars left that we decided to not list it through Diamond.

Hopefully that bodes well for future 2000 AD related pieces then (Death and Rogue Trooper would be my top picks).

I would expect so.
This one already is shaping up to be a great success as you mentioned. As such I can't imagine a one and done scenario. Hell yesteday I found myself going back to the pictures to stare at just how awesome the design of this one turned out.
