Just got my email as well for 1 Grommash Statue Replacement - Head.
No additional requests about destroying anything.

I just got notification that they will be shipping a replacement head within the next few days.
As far as I know, they are not requiring you to send back or destroy the broken head.

Since Blizzard is coming to the table, I am going to see what they can do about the spike on the shoulder of mine not fitting the statue without breaking or sticking into the hair.
I am in Australia so chances are they will just ignore me.
