I’m hoping they have been reading.

I think it looks much better in video, it was on the sideshow con last week... I just can't buy a Galactus that is next to my surfer and will be completely dwarfed by it...
Sideshow really dropped the ball on the size here IMO, I'd pick this up if it was closer to 28-30" but sadly, made it an easy pass.

i wanted to like this piece so much but the size and lack of authenticity to the source material disappointed me a lot.

Out of all the Galactus figures that have been produced - including the original maquette and the prototype to the HasLab figure- I like the face and headgear on this new one the best.
By a substantial margin.
I like the body type, and costume design on the HasLab the most.
Not keen on any of the faces on that one, though, which is dampening any enthusiasm I might have to get in on it.
None of 'em are perfect to me, but the Maquette is the one that adds up to more than the sum of it's individual parts.
For me, anyway.

For galactus ss got the paint apps
But overall for 2022 at price point, overall design and size... HASBRO is the winner.
And in all honesty....because everything comes down to money....which sideshow has shown me....
5 years from now..... I believe hasbro (TOY!!!) will fetch a higher price .... and more profit then sideshow
