Star Wars: Rogue One - 9/10
I'd probably give it an 8/10, but the last scene alone is worth the extra +1.

I though I read somewhere it was meant to portray the difficulty of getting used to her "shell" and that it wasn't a natural body
I've no idea if that is correct though as I haven't seen either of the movies and don't really know much about the property

Silence - 7/10
Martin Scorsese's religious 3 hour epic is not for the faint of heart.

Rogue One - second time watching, didn't enjoy it as much as in the cinema, but still loved it 8/10
Trainspotting: Always meant to see this but never did, finally got round to seeing it (20 years later) and loved it. Genuinely think this would have been a fav film if I'd seen it in my teens.

Interesting. So does ScarJo just have an odd walk and I never noticed until now? Good excuse to see her films again and make sure I guess.

Perhaps she suffers from terrible sweating and has to walk like that so she doesn't show pit-stains?

Passengers -7/10
What can I say, I really enjoyed this film. Probably more than most will given it's straightforward approach and slower pace. I'm a sucker for Sci-Fi though and this film checked a lot of the boxes I require to have an enjoyable experience. Great effects, solid acting and an interesting premise. It's not anything terribly innovative but what it does, it does well.

I agree with this, it was fun.
I read a really good article (can't for the life of me remember where which is irritating) about real life implication of this film and how it is the epitome of 'rape culture', and it was really tough to disagree with the points that were being made about female disempowerment and decision stripping. I imagine it'd make a rewatch slightly creepy from that perspective.
At the same time I totally understand his choices.
I think if the film had've dealt with some of that stuff a little more it could've been a sci-fi/drama masterpiece instead of a summer popcorn flick, but still, I enjoyed it.
