As time has gone on I've grown more fond of the series, especially parts 3 & 4 - Extinction and Afterlife.
The films are what they are. The very definition of a guilty pleasure series.
You and me think alike on these movies, lol.

The Perfect Family 7/10 Good movie with Kathleen Turner as a devout catholic woman trying to win the "Catholic woman of the year award." More of a family drama than comedy, but I really liked it.

The Trip - 7.5/10; intelligent humor, and some fantastic scenery. Good film.

The Caine portion still has me rollin'.

Lord Love a Duck (1966) - 3/10

A satirical comedy about the teenage culture of the '60s, or at least what the middle-aged suits in Hollywood thought it was. A big part of the problem was that star Roddy McDowall was 38 and trying to play a high school senior. Thank goodness he moved on to chimpanzee costumes.

Dredd - 8.5/10

My rating could go higher I think. In my head I'm thinking a 9 or 9.5 but I'm not sure if im just too hyped up seeing as I've just come out of the cinema from watching it.

All I can say is this is one of the most enjoyable movies I have ever seen. They completely got the Judge Dredd character down to a T. Awesome action, gory (but justified) violence, kick*ss soundtrack.

Pretty much a perfect Judge Dredd movie.

Vanilla Sky - 6/10; haven't seen it in probably a decade, and watched it with someone who's never seen it before.. she guessed something was up after the crash when she saw the skyline the morning after the club scene..

I am NOT a Cameron Diaz fan, but she did a great job in this film of portraying a psychotic ex... her facial expressions and just... demeanor.. were very convincing.

I keep hearing the good reviews. How's it doing at the box office? Good movies usually tank.
