Well, actually, that IS a line from Aguilera...I was wondering when this would happen, too...some lines are in more than one song, after all. Especially something as generic as that line.
It's also from a Mariah Carey song-- Shake it Off.

It's not my fault that you picked the most common lyric in the history of 21st century skank music.

If we have hit a stand still, you can try this one on for size:
But would I be a good Messiah with my low self-esteem?
If I don't believe in myself would that be blasphemy?
edit - Does not meet the criteria of a hit unless you count the UK. Nevermind.

Here's the ruling...(and I will add this to the rules in post #1)
If the lyric posted is a lyric used in more than one song, and the guesser has guessed a song other than the song intended by the poster, the answer is wrong. However, the guesser will get one free guess to get it right and cannot be bumped unless the second guess is incorrect.
If any future conflicts that require a decision, the game will be paused until I come on and make a ruling.

We are currently awaiting Teague's "second" guess...if he's wrong, it opens back up to everyone, if he's right, it's Teague's lyric...
