“Flash: Rebirth” Question

The pandemic has enabled me to go back and reread a lot of books from my library, and I’ve recently been on a Flash kick. I’d lined up Geoff John’s’ Flash: Rebirth to be followed by Flash: The Return of Barry Allen, not having read these since they first came out.

Reading through Flash: Rebirth, I’d forgotten Barry Allen’s actually not “reborn” from his death in Crisis on Infinite Earths in this story, which was disappointing. In the Afterward of this trade, Johns states that Barry Allen comes back during Final Crisis. Fair enough, I’ve got the HC collection so I then moved to that. No dice. Barry does not come back in this story, despite what Johns wrote in his Afterward to Flash: Rebirth, unless it’s in an offshoot story that’s not part of the core Final Crisis story.

Can anyone help me out here? In what story is Barry Allen actually reborn?

Ugh, never mind. Apologies. I have the wrong “Final Crisis.” I’ve got the Geoff Johns “Final Crisis,” not the Grant Morrison “Final Crisis” which I remember being a muddled mess, like most of what Morrison writes.
