I was speaking to the xm art director on Facebook and they were consciously trying to make bases smaller because of complaints. Personally I never had a probably with larger bases as long as it fits the character. This statue would have been better if his two feet were grounded with a wider stance throwing his cards while the other hand is either holding his bo or spinning it. I still like the current Gambit they are going with but I think it can be a bit better.

Fan of Gambit but I'm doing my best to resist getting into an X-Men collection to save funds and this is helping me resist it... that leg is too high and while I get the cards have to connect to something on the statue I think the stream of energy is bit excessive. I recall him just charging the cards themselves and throwing them... not an energy stream with cards inside...

Gambit was always lean muscle, so the thickness of his legs is no issue for me. But what is an issue is how unnaturally high his left knee is. Why not lower it like a quarter of an inch?

I'm also not a fan of how the long hair portrait has a scowl. Hope it's not as defined when painted up.

Rest of the piece looks great. It's just the pose I don't love.

They are my first three orders with them, but I've heard nothing but good things from other people. And the guy who runs it is awesome. They're a member here on SF as well.

It came in less than a week from payment and shipping date. I live in Canada.

I am really happy I pre-ordered XM Dark Phoenix with him as well.

I will defiantly order from him again.
You guys are gonna make me cry

I think gambit is definitely a more feminine character. Just my opinion.

Oh definitely, at least when you compare him to someone like Wolverine.
