I mostly collect Batman related statues, but I have XM Soundwave and Bumblebee. I also collect Transformers figures (i.e. threezero DLX and MDLX line). I'm looking to add a G1 Shockwave statue. He's a character that doesn't get enough love, even with toy lines. I'm hoping someone makes G1 Jetfire and Ultra Magnus (red and blue) as well.

Anyone know the status of Prime 1 with G1? Looks like all they've really done (if you don't count the Bumblebee 2018 stuff, which I'm thinking of removing) is just the same ol' Optimus and Megatron, since Nemesis Prime, Ultra Magnus and 'gold' are nothing but repaints.

Pretty pathetic G1 'line' then. And when did the last one of those come out? Have they announced any future plans?

The line is dead. It was one of the ones on the chopping block when I asked them about TMNT Bay Shredder and Krang years ago.

This line didn't turn out like it was supposed to. At the time this was to be a collaboration with Josh Nizzi to go a more modernized G1 route with a Bay inspired theme. Not what we got in the movies but something closer to what Bay detractors and G1 fans wanted at the time. Pictures below are what the line was supposed to look like. Instead, we got these. I don't know what caused the change but during the last Showcase when they showed off Powermaster Prime and Overlord Megatron which are clearly inspired by the art below. P1 said it was due to technical limitations at that time.

I'm not a fan of the current Powermaster Prime, too much stuff going on and if you have their Bumblebee Prime you basically have the concept art. I've been waiting almost 10 years for that Megatron.

Yeah, I believe I commented on that Megatron before. Not a fan of most Bayformers, but he looks like a cross between the Bayformer Megatron and Galvatron, but better. I would have been on board with that design.

What have you guys heard from Azure Sea lately?

I'm a little concerned, as I haven't heard anything on their social media in almost a year, and their Chinese website that I've checked sporadically for updates (with no luck), went down recently.

I was just looking into them myself, wondering what happened with that Shockwave statue they previewed.

No activity in a year is never good, but they aren't the only company that went quiet this year.
