To me raising the ES after the fact is probably one of the worst things you can do to a collectible. I know QC and what not aren't in their immediate control since it's factory and personnel related, but setting an ES and then increasing it is so dishonorable and outright wrong.

I agree mostly, especially SS lately with the repaints as well. But then with some smaller companies like PCS where it's a small increase and doesn't hurt the value of the statue at all and it gives more people a chance to own then I'm fine with it. I think setting the ES is tricky, but I'd rather give my money to the company that makes the statue than someone who purchased 2 to sell one.

God no. If a company starts doing that that's when I start thinking about not buying their product. XM are too clever to do something like that.
Not statues but a good example is Aspen comics and what they did with their endless reprints, recolours etc. Pissed off a lot of people and sure it lost them a fair few die hard fans in the process. Although I'm sure they gained a fair few new fans by allowing them to get highly sought after prints. Just seems dishonourable and undermines a very important part of what this hobby is based upon.
Good luck in trying to pick one up. Just try get onto Kayorzz or Kenny. I'm sure there's still some floating around available.

yeah, I can empathize with them but there were and still are ways of securing one without waiting for PO's to go up on online stores.
