Very nice...and the base has a Man Of Steel Krypton aesthetic to it.

My newest custom is my custom Storm. Finally, the Lee suit is done correctly and comic accurate in 1/4 scale. She has three portraits, optional lightning that goes from her hands down to the base, and two different bases (the one pictured here plus your basic red and black X base).

Custom Spider-Woman and custom Venom. I absolutely love this Venom and will never part with it.

Lots of really terrific customs in here!

Here is my Arisia Rrab 1/1 from John Ficchi (Vince Vell)

Ms. Marvel custom

(This person is now working on a Power Girl custom that should be ready within a year)

Valkyrie custom

(This is part of my Asgardian section. I have a Sideshow Jane Foster with a custom head there. On the way is a custom Lady Sif this year, a custom Lady Loki next year, and then farther down the line a custom Enchantress.)

Bo-Katan custom

(A true 1 of 1 custom as I bought a 3D print file and commissioned an artist to print and paint this piece. Of course an official Bo-Katan throne is now happening so I may very well have double throne of her in about a year.)

Out of curiosity...when you all buy custom statues, is it like a licensed statue where you pay a deposit (like 10% or 20%) and pay the rest later when it's completed?

Or are you expected to pay significantly more, or even the entire amount, when you pre-order?

In my experience it works like this roughly

Concept shown (artwork)

Pay $100 deposit

Render shown

Pay $200

Prototype shown

Pay $200

Production shown

Pay $200

Finished

Pay $200

Shipping

Pay ~$100-200 range depending on options and location.

These numbers can vary with the piece, but you get the idea of benchmark payments. On the first step if they don't get enough deposits I have seen them cancel a piece and refund everyone. Keep in mind this pieces generally have an ES of 20-100 range.

About half the pieces I see have people just stop paying and policy is generally you forfeit your statue and money if you don't respond for a long time and they offer it completed ready to ship to anyone willing to pay in full.

Sadly in some cases a commissioner has just taken money and run, which is why building credibility and regular communication is so important.
