As perfect as Snipes was for Blade, I think time has passed him by. Recast a new stud for the role instead of clinging to past glory... and staining it.

I think the idea of maybe having Snipes as an older retired Blade mentoring a younger face for the future. Teaches him well. During film, young Blade gets captured by old faces who knows Snipes is still alive and still want Snipes Blade dead. Snipes comes out of retirement to **** stuff up, and rescue young Blade. Job done.
I'd be down for that

The timing's perfect for Blade to make an appearance in Dr. Strange. Even if it's just a scene where Strange heads into a "Dark Side" bar or walks down the wrong street.

Oh no. I just thought of the Zorro sequel. Maybe it's Blade's son and the Blade family have to come together to overcome this looming threat. 
As far as I know, Blade is always ever the one character. It isn't a title like the Phantom that gets passed down. I say recast Blade entirely. Maybe have Snipes play a different character in the MCU version.
