Can we start a "fear the walking dead" thread yet and aimlessly speculate about it?

You can't count our boy down against some zombie grannie though. It was the second one that fell on top of him that I was worried about.
I do think Rick should have sounded an alarm, in fact wouldn't you expect the town to have an alarm system of some kind?
Deanna's husband will have to build one, oh wait, nevermind.

I guess throwing a few molotov cocktails on the crowd and/or parking a few more cars around the choke points made less sense than unleashing an undead horde for a winding road trip...but then again, where would the artificial drama be then?
Still enjoyable, but c'mon man...

That was a LOT of zombies. I don't think that burning them would have worked -- and that act would draw in more walkers. And if the walkers shoved an 18-wheeler off a cliff, they would eventually move the cars too. Hell, they were shoving each other so hard into the deflector plates that their heads were breaking. That’s some serious power.
I get Rick's plan. The part I didn’t get is not clearing out that hardware (?) store right then and there. Given the dangerously fluid environment they live in, clearing a building when they have the chance seems odd.
Now about that horn…..

Now we know why "Fear the Walking Dead" had so few actual zombies in it all of it's 6 show season. They were saving 'em for the premiere of TWD.

I think you'd need a lot more than a few, it looked like there were about 3,000 walkers in that ravine or whatever that was.

Guys(and gals)...firstly, fire spreads. They're all self-contained in a confined area. Yes, fire and smoke would attract more, just like what was already occurring - and that's a good thing. They'll all be attracted to, and fall in the quarry. Ready-made fire pit.
Oh, and the walkers were not shoving the trailers much. At this point in the apocalypse, most zombies are mush. Zombies were squeezing through by scraping themselves off. Rick himself mentioned that it's mostly a factor of time, and rain, which could cause the trailer to slip.
I get Rick's plan, but the writing needs to be better to make it a necessary risk, imo.
