Mad Max: Fury Road is the best action movie of the year so far. It compliments the Mad Max universe and elevates the genre to a different level.
Max comparatively has less dialogues, but commands the screen when he does speak and sometimes just by his presence and expressions.
Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron are totally badass and so are the other supporting characters, but it's Nicholas Hoult's role that became one of the surprising highlights for me.
Hats off to George Miller along with rest of the cast and crew for pulling off this crazy fun ride.

Is there any mention of Thunderdome or the previous films? Not that I really expect there to be but it would help cement the film's place in the MM timeline.

I figured as much. There's never been a strong continuity going through the other films, they are all like standalone films.

How did he manage to rebuild the Interceptor as it got destroyed the second time round? I think after the credits should have seen Max back at the remains of his car. Other than that amazing film.

the film actual lies between Road Warrior and Thunderdome.
I wonder if the pale kid with the black eyes from Thunderdome is a freed War Boy?

Man... what an awesome film!!!
Just insanely awesome, crazy good! See it on the biggest screen with the loudest sound you can, I did and it was worth it.
