what's the difference between a statue made out of resin and one made out of Fibregla

So I found a statue that I never new existed, and it's 3' tall and made out of Fibreglass. Does that mean it's a hollow cast piece? Is this material as good as a statue made out of resin or porcelain? I'm scared to give away too much details about the statue in case I decide to pull the trigger, and someone beats me to the punch. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Fiberglass is tough and light weight.
Travels best long distances and resist brakage.

I've had zero issues with Fiberglas

Only down side is details
It can be somewhat underwhelming
