Cannon or not, I’m considering doing exactly that.

From someone's who's collection is primary movie related, I find that there isn't much love for Marvel or DC movie pieces. Especially in relation to comic book based pieces. So I'm not surprised by the relatively low edition size at all.

Noticed that as well. Someone told me Winter Soldier was the last Marvel movie to have a 1:4 Premium Format statue .

And the most excellent Iron Studios 1/4 Team Cap pieces including Falcon, Bucky and Cap, each only had an edition size of 350 pieces!

Even though it was just uploaded (again?), I think I’ve seen it before.

Having watched Aquaman recently, i have to admit to liking this piece. I like the colors used on the base, they match one of the better under water scene's from the movie.
Compared to the Prime 1/3 and the Hot Toys 1/6, the Sideshow take works best.
The fabric pants is possibly the only negative.
The question is, how well will the production piece turn out? how good will the gold areas be?

I’ve got the regular preordered locally, and I’ve got the same concerns.
This is Sideshow we’re talking about, and most of their 1/4 movie pieces that have human facesculpts the past five to seven years have been downright disappointments (and I should know as I primary collect movie pieces), except for maybe a couple of exceptions like the Jyn Erso, and maybe Rey. WW, Thor, Cap, Loki, Supes, and a few others have been called by others as some of the worst pieces ever done. Which is why I’m guessing they don’t do many movie related pieces anymore where actor likeness is key. Harley was passable, and I won’t comment on Joker as I didn’t like the portrayal anyway, but both of those characters rely on an overuse of makeup etc.
But I must be a glutton for punishment, as I keep on preordering from them. Rarely do any of their human movie based premium formats turn out that well, but they can do it sometimes. But then again I do play the Stockmarket and buy lottery tickets a lot too...... which is why I hedged my bets by also preordering both the Prime 1 versions. As well as the Hot Toys for now, but I might cancel those.
Hopefully one of them turns out great, as even Prime 1 has been having issues lately.

I like this but its hard to commit when Prime 1's face sculpt looks far superior.
If it were fully sculpted I would be on board. As is, the fabric pants have me on the fence.

On a fence with fabric pants is just asking for trouble.
