I had high hopes for this piece, but the portraits kill this for me. Pretty, but not the character. More Selina Kyle than Ada Wong.

Underwhelming and very overpriced imo.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Not bad. A bit high for a secondary character. Need the Redfields, Jill or Leon.

For 1/4 statue with a simple base, why is this so expensive?

Agreed. I'm still disappointed on what could have been with this piece.

Upside, they have a Leon in the works. Downside, he'll be as high as this piece (if not higher).

I agree. I've been wanting an Ada Wong statue for so long and was so hyped after seeing the unpainted prototype. Instead of an instant pre-order, the price is what's keeping me on the fence considering the base and the statue are not overly complex or heavy on details. Don't get me wrong the piece looks good IMO but at this price point the statue might as well be coming from Prime 1.

Can't really fault them. They see the other companies pushing the price envelope and getting away with it. Plus as a smaller company they can't get the cheaper production costs the larger companies can. To try and get those same profit margins and continue to test buyer boundaries... tada.

All speculation on my part tho.

I only like the pose under this angle. Which is the pose we can find on a Hot Toys box.
Too pricey, and I already broke my rule" one statue per character" by ordering the Green Leaf.
You can find on Ebay an other nice and unlicensed Ada.
