Maybe a scratch in the past months can explain.

So--to your recollection--did anything hit the door prior to this implosion? I'm quite perplexed indeed. I'm glad the statues are safe, though.
You might be able to track down a local glass cutting shop and ask how much a new door would cost. They might surprise you--depends on how fair they are.

To be on the safe side I would just break the other ones.
As for why the glass broke stress fractures brought on by environmental changes.(vibrations, temperature fluctuations,weight-bearing)
Or do like the Republicans just blame Obama.

Thanks! I think so, too. If my Doom or X-Men vs. Sentinel I statue ended up broken on the ground, I may have jumped out a window.

Yep. I have no explanation.

Nope, nothing has touched this Detolf in well more than a year. Of my eight Detolfs, this is the one whose door I've opened the least.

That's what I'll have to do. I don't like having a Detolf with no door. The dust will build up far too much.

I believe I'll just wait for the other Detolfs to break themselves, thank you.
And now that you mention it, I did see a story on Fox News the other day saying that in-home accidents are brought on by their owners voting against Republicans. Tornadoes and hurricanes are also Democratic-influenced.

Man. Seriously. I saw Jason and that creeped me out! Jason gets my vote. He's the only one out of the Detolf! Scoop his ass up with a shovel and burn him!!!! Then find a priest and do an excorcism!

Can't let my wife see this thread. She covers my Darth Maul statue because "he looks like the devil!"

Y'know what I was thinking....the adhesive metal strip that you're supposed to put against the glass---the one that you need to put screws into....did you by any chance screw those in too deep and injure the glass? I'm wondering if THAT could have caused a weakness.
