I think most people just want to see progress. In most cases people have been really receptive for this "proposed" line of statues, but it is starting to look like some kind of marketing experiment, which is fine, but then it would have been far more intuitive to advertise the campaign as such.
That said, if GG really do decide to produce these, I think it would have made more sense to pitch the project a little closer to its intended release point, that way they reduce "dead air" between announcing the project and key facts are released.
Having said all of that, I really love the idea behind this line, but as I've said in previous posts, from my perspective I'll really judge them when around the time they are released! And at that point I'll judge them against their peers in the statue world! Right now, theres nothing on the marlet from anyone else (outside of maybe Yamato) that even have a project close to this, I can't help but think that NOW would be the time to get these out there for maximum R.O.I.....but hey, GG know their business!
