The first movie which was close to ROTF with a few differences and a proper G1 80s cartoon.

Going to be funny when Bumblebee 2 comes out and they reuse their BB Optimus and add a few lines for earth mode.

Great. Missed out the first time, and I hated the smoother looking Prime from T4 onwards.

For those interested, Secret Compass Collectables will be getting both the regular and exclusive versions of the P1 ROTF Optimus Prime statue, and it will be going up for pre order on their website by today [hopefully]……..

$2600-$3000 depending on where you go not counting shipping. Nice $600 markup since LK Megatron. Paid $2600 for their Shockwave which is 4 times the size.

As someone who bought the first Optimus statue from P1, this rehash doesn't sit well with me. They've already released Jetfire Optimus, which I was okay with, but this comes across to me as a cash grab by Prime 1 Studio and in my opinion, diminishes some of the "collector excitement" of owning the original. They've also done this with their Batman Arkham Knight statue, releasing several versions of essentially the same thing with very minor tweaks.

I agree but seeing as Optimus had minor revisions in each film it was bound to happen. Megatron I can understand seeing his body was altered much greater in each film. It was the only thing I looked forward to in each film tbh and Soundwave. Optimus and Megatron are their top TF sellers so why not.

I guess I’m going down that rabbit hole and finally pick up my first P1 Transformers statue...

I have a question, is it just me or do the legs appear a little skinnier than the movie or the DOTM statue..? Any help/thoughts will be greatly appreciated..
