Take it as a blessing. Mom always reminds me that things don't happen if they're not in His plans. I haven't quite figured that one out yet.

I'd go the old-fashioned way and apologize straight up. Forget the lawyers. I hope he's all cool about it seeing he hasn't given you trouble yet. It's the right thing to do.
