Well that makes sense. You know, I feel like 99% of the first reports regarding anything having to do with genre films is bogus. I usually take most first reports with a grain of salt, especially when they don't come directly from top sites or sources.

Billy Zane and Jason Biggs were celebrating there for a minute!

‘Spider-Man,’ ‘Jumanji’ Release Dates Set | Variety

" Sony has set new release dates for its upcoming reboots of “Spider-Man” and “Jumanji.”

The studio has moved up the release of “Spider-Man” from July 28, 2017 to July 7, 2017. The live-action movie — a collaboration with Marvel — stars Tom Holland and will be directed by Jon Watts.

“Jumanji” will be pushed back from Christmas Day 2016 into the now open weekend of July 28, 2017 — previously occupied by the superhero tentpole. "
