I've been trying to get the first Aquaman and Joker for years with no luck so hoping these will fill the void.
I have to admit I prefer the simple black bases but I don't think they will be going back to that anymore.

My collection is all simple black bases. I think it adds to the focus on the character itself. I wish they did the option for both. But I know it will never happen.

yah I started collecting their 1:10 statues just because the focus was on the character, but unfortunately some people told them via social media that they wanted more busy bases (as if we didn't already have enough companies that produce big bases) and I suspect their decision was influenced by that.

I am sorry they started with these complicated bases instead of the simple black bases. They should continue both so people have a choice.

I like when they have the simpler bases but with character touches. Like how it was torn up on Flash and had snow for Penguin, lighting strike on Shazam.
My favorite is on the Marvel side and how Magneto is manipulating the black base.

Yes good call! Ghost Rider is also very cool. I hope they go back to that for some.
Like the other guys have said, offering the option with both would also be great but would probably push the cost to high for this scale.

That base looks very good in hand. Not just the flames but the melted asphalt and sort of volcanic brimstone effect in the cracks. Although I don't mind plain black bases I definitely prefer bases like this, Bane's and Penguin's.
