Snagged one at TRU today - they had 11 - I was #10. Only waited about 1/2 hour - all in all I'm excited to get this!

Amazon.ca crashed. No idea how much stock they had as they were sold out the instant it went up
Whatever. Over this nonsense for now. Grab it later when everyone has moved onto the next shiny thing

Hope they do a v.2 down the line with more games as there are so many ones I'd love to own...
Bad Dudes
Baseball
Battletoads
Bump n Jump
Metal Gear
RC Pro Am 1&2
TMNT 2
Tetris
Those are just the ones missing off the top of my head I'd want. Really surprised Tetris isn't on here. Must be some weird rights issues going on behind the scenes as everyone had that one

Apparently this was Nintendo's decision. You couldn't pre-order this thing anywhere.

I have a hard time justifying the effort for this one when there are a plethora of emulators out there that not only offer the classics, but the 3rd paryy licensed games as well.

Legality doesn't do it for ya, huh?
Your thoughts on other unlicensed products, like recasts?

If you're genuinely interested in playing old NES games, you can buy the games from the Nintendo digital store for the Wii or WiiU. Fairly cheap and far more convenient way to get NES games and the selection will be a lot better than 30. I don't know why anyone's excited about this thing unless you just want something for a collection.
