We are getting some great pics now but I thought I would share some pics anyway.

I'll be keeping mine despite some minor issues on the exclusive head - the paint app is not as good as the prototype (reminds me of the lastest WW PF) and the dreadful hair line. I can get over those issues.

Overall I think it was well done and on par with other recent PF releases. No issues on mine to contact Sideshow about this time around. I actually really like the wings and the way they have individual pieces in it to make up the whole.... I was expecting something more like a solid piece.

Anyways if you like what you see here you will not be disappointed with this in hand. Like other have said, it looks better in person. Cheers!

Ps. Not sure how to make the pics right side up. Apologies.

I cannot remember if this has been covered already?
I see an Annie Lennox likeness.

Those eyelids, the black area could use some re-work.
Can't help but be drawn to the 'lumps' in the hair. Statue hair can be so hit'n'miss with the levels of lumps.
The rest of the portrait looks good.

Didn't notice... thanks... lol

Seriously though, the picture is magnified and not really noticeable in person.

Congrats to the people who are happy with her. I may be too picky, but I don't like that the wings look like they are plastic and taken right out of the mold. Definitely need some sort of paint detail on them. I'm still not a fan of the hairline on the EX, and the difference in paint on the head sculpt between the proto and the production piece is huge. Guess I'll wait to see what another company does with her. I want Hawkgirl in my collection, but at these prices she has to be a Hawkgirl I'd be happy displaying.

Her hairline looks like it is receding some due to too many botox injections.

Yeah.
I saw the similarity to Lennox on an earlier photo but hesitated to say anything. Fortunately I like her music.

In the first crop I was seeing a strong resemblance to thirity year old Jamie Lee Curtis.

So how would people address the hairline? It also looks a little too high for my taste. I think it would look better about an 1/8"- 3/16" lower- but that seems like too great a distance to just feather with paint.
And I'm not sure a feathered 1/16" edge would improve it enough to be worth the effort.

I was thinking of giving the hair another paint job anyway. Similar color, but with a slightly darker sienna/umber wash for the recesses and a little dry brush with a slightly brighter more reddish sienna.

Thanks to slickry, and everyone else, for all the new pics.

I was horrified when I saw the first in hand pics. But since more pics have came out I went ahead and converted my flex payments to pay mine off today. I really like the statue and the exclusive portrait is my only concern. So I'm going to get her in hand and go from there. She is my last SS statue on order and I have a Thanos/Lady Death and Magik on po from XM. After that I will be out of space for 1/4th statues so if I end up not liking her she will be at the top of my sell list for when I need space.

For those of you who have received this, how is the regular portrait? Does it have any QC issues? The squinty eyes don’t bother me at all as she obviously has a fierce battle-face. Plus, she needs a good hard hat to protect that pretty head. And I really need her to actually look like Hawkgirl on my shelf, so I won’t be using the EX anyway.

After watching Gem Mints review and Batman Statue Collectors guest review, I’m almost to the point of pulling the trigger.

I like her portrait though. She reminds me a bit of Kate Beckinsale.
That serious look

Hairline looks fine in person... The only thing I don't like is the sculptor for whatever reason put some hair on the side of her head that kind of just sits there while the rest of hair is being blown back, it was a very poor design choice... When I get it repainted I'm going to see if the person can remove those pieces of hair and fix it to look more consistent with the wind blowing her hair back...
