Hey Bulls if you don't mind LMK what you think about the PQ on Lethal Weapon when you get around to watching it. I bought the HD DVD and wasn't very impressed and was wondering if the BD transfer was any better. Thx.

WB titles overall have been mediocre. I believe they have been employing MS encodes and they are simply not all that great. But I will let you know how it looks. The recent Harry Potter releases have been pretty good. WB are also pretty poor on HD audio. Almost non-existent.

My 5 disc Blade Runner will probably arrive after Christmas but I believe it at least has Total HD and the PQ is supposed to be incredible on BD. http://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=27055

Yeah I have noticed that with WB titles. Unfortunate. I was similarly disappointed in Excalibur and Caddyshack on HD DVD but at least the newer WB titles seem to be quality. Batman Begins and The Matrix Trilogy are a few of my favorites.

Thanks for the link to the Blade Runner review too. What is your opinion on the Blu-ray.com forums since you seem to have been there for a while? I haven't used it as a source for unbiased opinions since format specific forums usually consist of a bunch of zombies. Not saying thats the case here just wondering if its generally an objective place for reviews and such. If so I'll use it as a resource.

The insiders are pretty good. But as you would expect they are pretty biased towards BD. They do however try and not bash the other format. Just provide the facts.

Virgin had a 3 for 2 so I picked up PoTC 3, The Tudors Season 1 and Hostel (Unseen editio). All have PCM.
