Recommended shelving/display cases for showing off your SW Attakus collection
I know detolfs can be used if utilized right, and IKEA billy book cases are an option, but I would like to get some other ideas for display cases/shelves that some of you guys use.
I currently use DETOLFS from IKEA and BILLY book cases for my Attakus statues
I would appreciate if anyone could make recommendations for alternatives, where you can buy them, and prices.
Thanks!

I do have one question about the BESTA series though: Do they sell individually "per cube" ?

Yeah, it's a modular system so you can buy 'per cube' if you *really* wanted to..
EDIT - If I'm not mistaken the two top ones in the above pic are individual cubes..

I think the Detolf is still the best option. IMO, the besta appears to "flatten" the statues, looking at them in a closed box from only 1 side is not nearly as good as having the light surround the statue and viewing it from 3 sides. My two problems with the Detolf are 1) the bottom shelf is on the floor and 2) shelf hieght is too small. Has anybody modified thier detolfs to increase the shelf hieght? I was trying to figure out a way to move the glass shelves around to leave 3 equal sized shelves in each detolf instead of 4

There's also the BIBY line on Ikea, take a look:

I just wish they had it in black. Hopefully they will at some point.

Yes, you loose a little space for sure, but you gain a more robust unit and "out of the floor" view, since it have "legs". I hate Detolfs bottom part. I will buy a couple of the Biby's myself and see what I can do with them.
