I just wish they had it in black. Hopefully they will at some point.
I went to Ikea to look at this shelf. I was surprised to see that the frame is metal and it looks pretty cheap. It reminded me of a portable school locker, but glass

When you say it looks cheap, you mean construction wise? I never seen it in person(no Ikea here), but if it "feels" cheap, I won't bother with it then.
Yeah, I knew it was made out of metal, which I like.

It looks and feels cheap. Saw this a while back, and was not impressed with it.
If you are looking for a Detolf styled case that is "off the ground" a bit, I would just make a base, or put a Detolf on something else to give it height

I have both my black brown Detolfs on these MALM shelves.

They fit amost flush, look great and u get a bit of storage too

This is a pic of mine with the Detolf on top

By the way, this is one I have been looking for:

They are close to my home, and I have seen it in person twice, really nice and slick looking(which I like).
Price is not bad compared to others($799). Actually, it's much cheaper than others out there. The dimmensions are 75"H x 36"L x 20"D.

Nope, no Detolfs. I have 12 Detolfs that I want to get rid of ASAP. They are "ok", but feels pretty cheap. I want something more sturdy, with thicker glass and able to handle more weight.

Yeah thats a SHARP looking display case!! I like it!! But $799.00 is more than I would ever consider for a case to put collectibles in. I would rather build my own

12 ?!?!?!?!? Wow! LOL

I mentioned detolfs only because another display case very similar was mentioned, and think the Detolf is still better.

I am looking for something with more room like the BESTA or something else...

Last last case you posted a pic of is beautifull though...

I agree the Detolfs still feel kinda cheap, and am not confident that they can hold the weight of multiple Attakus statues, thus my inquiry.

I WISH I could build this things, so my sin is end up paying the prices.

But compared to others in the $1000-$1500 range, it's very good priced. They ship for free also. I saw it and it's pretty sturdy.

not bad. it might be a bit higher than i would want it though. it bumps it up 22 inches. i'll have to check.

MALM
Width: 15 7/8 "
Depth: 18 7/8 "

DETOLF
Width: 16 3/4 "
Depth: 14 3/8 "
