Kotobukiya Batman The Dark Knight Original Suit Version ArtFx Statue
Hi guys,
This arrived yesterday, and heres a couple of shots, sorry about the bad pics, but its all i can muster at the moment. Its a real solid piece of art, and very large. Bats himself is really solid, no problems with fitting and everything. The batsign itself is light weight plastic, but holds up batman without any problems at all.
Enjoy

its not illum, but its light coloured. the effect seen is because of the flash. Generally its a bit light reflective under normal conditions, but its not lit up on its own, if thats what you're asking

Huh...
There's no question of me getting this one to complement the Dark Knight version... but I'm not that thrilled with the overabundance of 'forced shading' between the black and grey.
As it is, I'm contemplating repainting the DK's cape in flat black to make it more visually accurate.
(It's too damn glossy.)
Looks like I'm going to have to work the hell out of a 'Begins' repaint.

its not really glossy, as compared to the dark knight suit, its just that since it was really quite dark, i found it hard to take a good shot without the flash lighting it all up. im not very good with the cam, see. sorry about that.
nemesisenforcer, its released here in singapore already, it would take a while more before it reaches the US

This will be a good compliment to the DK statue.

You could always just spray it w/ sealant. Just ensure you use flat as opposed to glossy or satin...
