The problem's actually in the forced shading with the blue streaks in the cape.

In the movie, that cape just sucked the light out of everything around it. Just looked like a big black rug on his back.

You'll love it.

I picked mine up last night...

Same as my advice with the Dark Knight version, that cape is going to be a b*tch to get into his back, so heat it up first and be gentle trying to find where the pegs fit into the hole...

AND be really gentle putting the figure onto the bat-signal.

His left foot will slide right onto the front peg effortlessly but the back one needs a little pressure but you'll feel like even the slightest pressure could actually break the thin plastic of the base.

It's a balancing act between applying force and knowing when to not push down so hard.

A friend of mine has this one and i ended up putting it together for him,he started and got impatient when he saw it wasn't easy to put together so i said let me do it before you break it,lol. The cape went in very easily actually but i agree with the rest of Mclovin's advice, especially when putting bats onto the base, its very, very fragile. Be very carefull !!

These are very nice pieces !!
