Lightbulb PCS: Pathetic Clown Show

Hey there! About a little over a month back I posted my experience with PCS and how much of a headache it was dealing with these scumbags. I thought I would post an update...

Just to Tarantino this-
They wanted to play the "fu*k around and find out" game and ended up losing their money for their product and a customer.

The recap-
Aside from the laundry list of complaints I have about the statue in general, the piece didn't even key into either base.
So it's defective and worthless upon delivery.

When in contact with support they asked me to drill a new hole into the base myself so the statue would fit...

After countless emails wasting my time going back and forth with a complete moron (RJ). This guy was absolutely useless.
I decided I was just done with the BS and I asked for a shipping label to send it back for a full refund. Well, they didn't like that at all.

-My options where, do nothing and get $100 credit for their defective product and hack paint job

-Send it back to their warehouse here in the States so they could "try" to fix it and they would pay for the return label.
(So... they are willing to pay for me to get it back to them and then pay out again for them to get it back to me) +$50 credit

-If they couldn't fix it they would get a new one shipped out from the factory overseas.
(So... Pay for me to get it back to them and pay to get a new one sent to me from the factory)

-If I wanted to be done with this statue, and receive a full refund... the shipping cost would be on me.
(So... I have to pay even more money for them sending me a defective product) +They lose a customer for life and sour the company name by looking like cheap amateur-hour clowns.

Since none of these options worked for me and I was done wasting my time with nonsensical back-and-forth BS, I initiated a stop payment with my credit card and filed a dispute.
I got back the item's full price minus the initial shipping costs. Now I have a massive useless paperweight.

From the overpriced shotty craftsmanship, the lack of QC /attention to detail, and overall poor artistic direction on a pre-existing iconic character...
I truly wish this company the absolute worst.

Honestly, from the product shots to what you actually receive this is straight-up false advertising...

I'm happy to see many on here have previously canceled their POs and I also hope not many had to deal with these idiots in the capacity I did.

Sidebar-
Whoever posted the shots a few pages back of their friend who did a custom paint job on this looks absolutely amazing!
Does anyone know if they are accepting commissions and or a contact? Thanks in advance.

Cheers!

I’m getting mine repainted right now. When I get it in hand, I will post photos and contact information for my customizer.

Thanks for posting, Couchfly.

I didn't go through nearly the same hassle, but I have pretty much reached the same point with this "company". I've had issues over the years with them, but this project was the last straw.

That custom Robo artist is (or was, last I checked) taking customers. His fb page is Shiny Red Guitar Studios.

Got mine refunded from the local supplier, and don't think I will ever be ordering a PCS statue again.

Borrow money from a pessimist, they don't expect it back.

I am happy that you guys here are reasonable and not accepting crap from PCS. I don't know why others are cheering them while the company makes subpar products with QC issues everywhere. Sorry about your experience Couchfly. To add more fuel to the fire if you buy something from their site and cancel it you can get a refund only in store credit. This is some ----ty move. I will never buy anything from them ever again.

I hear you, man. It's really wild just how many things they missed and messed up with this one. Truly false advertisement.

Cheers! I'll check it out.
