how true, how true...

especially now, what with a dfferent Ironman & Hulk seemingly coming out daily. But I do own the Bolland in t his series, and would truely love one in color at a bigger size...

I think colorized FS versions of B&W will kill the run by saturating the market with overpriced pieces.[/QUOTE]

well that's the way this line was supposed to start out I wouldn't have minded it that way. I really liked the pics of the risso in color.

i think it would kill the mystique. the black & white gives them a unique place in the market.

Black & White --- has it's own mysterious, shadowy, flavor. Too much, is too much, but enough is perfect !

There is enough other Batman product available without having to recycle the B&W sculpts.

I personally hope they wrap the B&W set and move on at an even 30 - 35 pieces....

Just visited Neal Adams site and discovered his son's statue colorized: so if Mr Adams thinks it might not be such a bad idea...maybe DC Direct should think about it too...

I think the B&W line works so well because colors tend to be the weakest element of all the statues produced by DC Direct. That said if DC could make it look this good, I'd buy it a second time.
