I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

I don't normally criticize a piece before it's out but the face on this is pretty bad. I was planning on getting all the heroes in this line but will be passing on this one unless it's fixed. Too bad really.

The female portrait is something XM continues to struggle with, I thought maybe they turned the corner with Storm but it seems like they're falling back into a rut again.

I wonder if XM is doing these female portraits in house, if so they should really outsource them to sculptors who specialize in female faces.

I don’t think it’s the sculptors. From the look of it, the sculpture looks like the prototype. I honestly think it is the paint job making it weird. XM’s eyes and eyebrow paints are almost always bad and look dead imo. The good portraits from them seems to be the ones with no iris or the ones wearing masks.

Look at that chin & jawbone, that's defiantly masculine looking which the rendering didn't have. I hate to say it but it does look like a guy in drag from the neck up. The sculptor misfired IMO and missed the mark.

I don’t mind the chin that much and don’t find it masculine. I personally think the dead eyes are the bigger problem. But, I guess we can agree the portrait does not look good.

I agree what an ugly looking face and I was really looking forward to this Supergirl as well thinking this was going to be the one.

Easy pass. Portrait fails to sell it (to me atleast)
Besides, its rare for me to pick up a 1/6 statue.

I've been pondering why XM have gone the 1/6 route all of a sudden?
I've considered - maybe obtaining 1/4 licences is proving difficult, what with Sideshow in the mix.
I've also considered, given the crazy levels of Sideshow price hikes, for XM to maintain their level of excellence in 1/4, maybe prices might have to rise too much for them to be a viable option?
