Well, it is a statue, of the mixed media variety, as the suit is fabric.

Luckily from normal viewing distance the sweat doesnt stand out awkwardly as much and its effect with shelf lighting looks a bit better. But the sweat wasnt the only thing. The muscular definition was greatly reduced from the prototype giving him a much softer look. Also the cuts were the size of a grizzly bear paw, not accurate, and painted a dull brownish red. It was a $700 statue back when SS PF’s were under $400 so it shouldve been perfect. It seemed also at the time that Blitzway was a little less than forthcoming because I dont think the prototype was even real, seemed almost to be a cg model. Never saw wip photo’s, never a photo like the spaceman above, and it never made show appearances to my knowledge.
That said the likeness is still amazing. An extra splash of red with a side of heart attack did wonders for the cuts. Still a very impressive piece overall that Im never selling.

Ah, I see. Thanks for the clarification. I only have the Game of Death one and can't imagine selling it either. Even with the flaws you mentioned, I really regret not double dipping for the EtD, as at least work to improve the cuts seems minimal, even if you shouldn't have had to do that for the premium at the time, I agree.

Yea, I don't care about what the CSA think. As long as it's NASA approved, I'm fine with it, at least for a collectible.

nevermind, compass finally put him up.
well...worst case...if for some reason they refuse to display it, I can put in MY collection as a piece that is in their memory / reasoning.
Rather than a movie, game, or comic character.

Product Weight : Approximately 25 Kg (including Package)
That's heavy for a 1/4 scale.

Edit: Welp. Tried to post a Captain Kirk "Sh-- just got real" GIF, but censored. I guess the CSA didn't approve.

it got censored because you're not allowed to use pics/gifs with cursing in it as the filter can't change it for you
source: I have done this and got my posts edited before :P
