It is called a salaried position here in the states. I receive a set salary for my job no matter how many hours/days I work. From August to March I work A LOT and don't get to see my family all that much. April and May I will only work about 40 hours a week and June/July I work 5-10 hours a week.

yeah i know what salary is is 
i hate it. i used to be on salary. i think its so wrong. why should people not be paid for time they are spending away from their family and doing their own thing? but then again makes up for it when you are bluding in june july
