They are renegotiating the licence with Warner Bros still maybe after that we will know more

If I remember correctly, it's because the line wasn't doing well, so didn't want to risk releasing a non-A tier list character and it turns into a dud, so it was put on hold (but the sculpt is done IIR). There are also licensing negotiations with NeatherRealm as their focus for the last few months had been on Injustice 2. Hopefully we hear some good news soon regarding the MK line as a whole.

Yea, possibly.  I was just asking here because he is the only one 'announced' in the MKX line after MKX Scorpion /Sub Zero or did I miss something?
