Last Night in Soho (2021) - Aspiring fashion designer Eloise is mysteriously able to enter the 1960s, where she encounters dazzling wannabe singer Sandie. But the glamour is not as it seems, and the dreams of the past crack and splinter into something darker.
For me this is worth rewatching for the recreation of swinging sixties London and the mystery of transporting back and forth between the present in the first half of the film. It turns into an average thriller in the second half. 7/10

Chico & Rita (2010) - Chico is a young piano player with big dreams. Rita is a beautiful singer with an extraordinary voice. Music and romantic desire unites them, but their journey - in the tradition of the Latin ballad, the bolero - brings heartache and torment.
The story is somewhat contrived, but the music and animation are both stellar. 8/10

Road House (2024) - 8/10
I'm a big fan of the original, but I was still looking forward to this as I dig Jake Gyllenhaal and Doug Liman has directed some good stuff...and this was a ton of fun. The camerawork gave the fights and action sequences a certain flare.

My prior exposure to McGregor is limited at best, but I agree...his stupid walk

Was playing at Regal theaters for a couple of days. Nice to see it on the big screen again.

Ghost Busters: Frozen Empire 8.5/10
Even if it was abit slow at some parts, it was still good. I really enjoyed it.

Dark Tower (1987)
3/10
Thoroughly dreadful movie propped up by by the only talent in the film, namely, Jenny Agutter.
The rest of the cast appear to have come from the school of over acting.
