The reviews for the Hotel New Yorker seem to be better even though the price is higher ...

Vicki and I stayed in the New Yorker and it was great.

However you're not there for the room, and we only went there because it was a deal with the flights...

I agree I'm not, that's been my whole point all along. But, if I'm going to stay in the city, then I would like to stay in a clean place.

Well the New Yorker is definitely clean, unless somethings drastically changed in the last 5 years.

I want to start by saying Thanks to Paddy for all the hard work he is putting into this.

That being said, I don't think any option is going to please everyone. We all have different ideals and needs for this trip. For me it is kind of a once in a lifetime trip. I want to be close to everything, so I can do as much as possible in the time spent in NYC. I am willing to spend just a little extra to accommodate my wants.

Bottom line is that it doesn't matter whether we all stay together at the same place, we can all meet up and have a great time no matter what.

If you see the reviews that are negative are from those that have issue with the concierge or front desk. It is not from safety or cleanliness.

Remember this was a hotel I found for those that did not wish to spend the value of what is even below the average of a moderate hotel in NYC.

I will be giving you pricing for others moderate plus hotels too. But to stay in NYC isn't going to be anywhere less then what I had sent you previously.

I will continue to send all of you info!
