New X-Men Toon announced 2007
Toon Zone has announced that a new X-Men cartoon that features both 2-D and 3-D animation is in pre-production and is scheduled to air in the summer of 2007. The new series will primarily focus on Wolverine....hmmm, imagine that! And, it will be similar to the other new upcoming Marvel toons; Fantastic Four, and Iron Man........

I just hope it isn't cheesy and actually follows the comics.

Yeah....I figured you'd like this news. But, if they're going to have it be mostly about Wolverine, why not just make it a Wolverine cartoon? I'd rather have an X-Men cartoon that gave characters like Juggernaut, Colossus, Cyclops, etc... equal billing. Oh, yeah...I hope they have some appearances by the Imperial Guard!!! Specifically Gladiator!!!

I wish they'd just start doing Final Fantasy-style hyperrealistic CGI comic series that more closely followed the classic stories. Not the cell shaded or "stylized animation" krapola either. I'd love to see X-Men, Avengers, FF done like that -- not to mention the DC Universe.

It would be nice if they gave us some classic story's, But if it's going to revolve around Wolvie well that isnt going to happen

Man oh man, would I love to see the classic Claremont / Bryne run from X-Men done in a perfect translation from comic to cartoon. They should get John Byrne to come on board as an art director, and designer for this series, and have Claremont as well come in as a consultant!!! Now that would be an awesome series!!!
