Stingraaaaaaaaaaay! Stingray!
Who here remembers Stingray, the marine-based puppet show from the makers of Thunderbirds?
I really need to know how well-known it is out there in the wider world. A flood of folks recalling it, and in particular its twin theme songs, fondly would be very handy indeed.
Let the reminiscences, if reminiscences there are, commence!

Ahhhh......The nostalgia this brings!!! Stingray was my favorite as a kid. I also liked Thunderbirds, but I really wanted the Stingray submarine....thought it was cool! I remember an episode with a mermaid in it called Marina. Had this syrupy (sp) love song. I think one of the dudes in the crew fell under a love sick spell over her...MAAARRRIIIINNNNAAA..........Do I recall that she was a red head? It's only been like forty years ago!

Didn't most every episode have the mute mermaid Marina in it, and end with the song 'Marina, Aqua Marina...'?

I wouldn't doubt it....I was like five years old when I used to watch this show, and haven't seen it since. So, even remembering her name, and the fact that there "was" a song about her makes me think that I've still got a pretty good memory.

Believe me, the fact you can remember that is great news. I needed to know someone did...
