hawkman is top notch

i have been a long time reader of hawkman.does anyone else appreciate this title like i do?? the past year has been one of the best ongoing books in my opion. it reads like g. johns .lol. everytime you turn around something blindsides ya. it is a heck of a ride and read. i know some big comic shops around here usually have the last 4 or 5 back issues on the new racks. well when it comes to hawkman it sells out ..its on #45 and the issue on the rack is way back at 29!!this along with jsa is my must reads eveytime they come in my batch of cimcs. simply fantastic.

I haven't been reading JSA, but i have been reading Hawkman since issue #1 of the new series.

The story arc that just finished with Golden Eagle was probably the best story orc of the series so far.

I've also been reading it since it was relaunched, and it's an AMAZING read!!

I would put it right up there with Legion, JSA, Birds of Prey and Batman.

If you read Lying in The Gutters over at www.comicbookresources.com Rich Johnston is reporting that the Hawkman title might be replace by... Hawkgirl.
