My first comic was a copy of "Superfriends" - the Hallowe'en issue where they battle Bizarro, Man Bat, Demon, Solomon Grundy and Swamp Thing! Ah my youth!!!!!!!!

I don't remember that one!
I do recall where they end up fighting a team of alien monsters that turn out to be heroes from another world. Two vampires, Bat-man and Bat-woman, a disguised Green Lantern, some Creature from the Black Lagoon type and a Frankenstein's monster.
I used to love this book.

Had it also, loved it also! This one is particularly cool.
The Super Friends TV cartoon was pure cheese, but the comics were excellent! E. Nelson Bridwell, Ramona Fradon, Alex Toth... A who's who of Silver Age creators. The stories tie in amazingly well with the DCU. Guest appearances from TNT & Dyna-Mite, Black Orchid, Menagerie Man, the Global Guardians, Elongated Man, Sinestro, and more.
No, I'm not kidding...

It was either a Worlds Finest where a bloke could duplicate himself by touching some ball shaped devices he had on his finger tips.
Or The Flash where Gorilla Grod turns him into The Heaviest Man Aive.

Sorry I'm late posting in this thread.
My first comic that I can remember was Wonder Woman #7 (second series).
