I would have preferred IC be a little slower paced - perhaps a double sized issue? Everything did just seem to fly right by.

I do agree the first part of the issue is very very fast paced, but the last half is very nicely paced and developed.
All in all, a great read. Man, you and I both wish it could have been a double issue.

The biggest moment in IC3 (you know you have #1 on your review right?) had to be the spectre take on Atlantis. Damn. Impressive. There won't be much left of DCU this way.

Thanks for the heads-up! I guess I was ranking IC#3 as #1 in my book.
That too was a great moment. Man, too many great moments in this issue, just wish we could have had a few more pages on some of them.

IC is like reading a powder-keg with a lit fuse. There's so much going on it's gonna blow! I still don't get how all the miniseries tied in together for this event (other than they happened at the same time) but it's a fun ride.
Spiderwoman looks to be off to a good start. I never followed the character when she first appeared (yes I'm dating myself here) so alot of this is very new to me. The dialogue was great and the art a pleasure to look at. This is my pick of the week.

This is so damn massive. Need to get the TPB when it is released to read it all again. To damn much going on (like COIE at the time). It's good to be a dc fan.

I agree, it is much like COIE in that respect. YOu gotta re-read these just to get everything.
IT is great to be a DC fan, man.

I know. I missed a few things when i read COIE the first time. I was just awe-struck by all the characters. I only never did get what Wolfman ment when he said he had a way to bring Barry Allen back. Was it because he became one with the speedforce? And didn't Barry recently return in the Flash comics (i need to brush op on this...)
Oh, and whatever happened to the Red Tornado after COIE?

Yes he did, in the utterly forgettable conclusoin to Rogue War. I'd have to re-read to see how, but it was more like a big time travel thingy than a return. Hard to explani, and it sucked so bad I really didn 't pay attention.
