For pure fun and entertainment value, nothing is better than Ultimate FF. Cap's story may be more important, but this oen is just a delight to read. Glad you like it too man.

So the general opinion so far is:
All-Star Superman - yea
All-Star Batman - nay
I'll admit, the Superman does look pretty good.

I'll agree with that.
I usually give any new book 3 issues but I cound not make it through the 2nd issue of All-Star Batman. I really did want to like this book.

Just read AS Batman #3. Some of the worst writing I've ever read. Hackneyed, cliche, and stilted. What the hell happened to Frank Miller? Does Black Canary look great? Sure. But so did Vicki Vale in the first issue and that was no reason to buy this trash. I'm with Hillis on this one. Three strikes you're out. I'm done with this book.
I disagree on New Avengers. While Cho's art was disappointing and his cover was dull and, sure, this story was more set up and not so much on action, I thought it was intriguing and next issue should be the pay off.

Hey, after all the agreeing we've done lately its back to form disagreeing.
First, I'm in no way giving a thumbs up to the story of AS Batman #3. AS much as I thought the black canary story was humorous, it isn't good. The only good things the art, and Jim Lee is in superb form. I'm still in it for af ew issues, but I no logner expect anythign from this title but eye candy.
BTW, did you see Miller's alternate cover. Gross.
As for new avengers. A big snooze in my book, buddy. Set-up is good and all, but alking over your corn flakes is just flat out BORING! And the bendizzz dialogue is just frustrating. "Umm, ughh, huh, what?" Yeah, whatever. HOpefully next issue has some payoff. Half of this series is good, some great, some woefully bad.

Gonna have to disagree with you on the New Avengers #14 issue. I loved it.
