NYCC 2014 - 1st Con Haul

So rather than attach everything here I put everything up over at CAF. Just getting my feet wet but I am happy with the art I've gotten.

Some of the pictures are a bit crappy. Sorry about that.

Very eclectic mix. I always have loved the shocker. Congrats on the pick ups.

Very nice haul! Congrats! Some really great pieces there, but for me, the Zoom really stands out!

Great stuff! Really like the Saviuk Shocker and Kolins Zoom! Pretty good feet wetting!

Yeah I really need a good camera to take better pictures of the larger stuff. I think Alex said he hadn't drawn the Shocker before. I hated to admit I hadn't been reading his daily Spider-Man comics but he was such a huge part of monthly comic reading with "Web of..." I knew I had to get something from him, and Shocker has always been one of my top favorite Spidey villains.

Yeah my collection is certainly eclectic even as small as it is. I am a huge fan of villains and there's just such a huge pot to pull from, it's usually easy enough to find something the artist will draw. It's those more obscure characters like toku and video game villains that I think I'll have a harder time getting commissioned.

I got one last piece of art that I commissioned at NYCC and am stunned by how gorgeous it is.

Dave knocked it out of the park with Hank Henshaw.

I don't want to start another thread since I'm already posting in this but I also recently acquired some other stuff.

I love the use of speedlines in the background box. Frenz does the best Hobgoblin, imo.

This was a reward for the fight frogs (tmnt meets prison pit kinda) kickstarter some of you might have seen. Like my other characters of choice, it's a pretty obscure character for most, being a villain from the old toyline Sectaurs. Giegerich made Spidrax look a helluva lot cooler than he had any right to be.

Nice! The Cyborg Superman and Hobgoblin are both outstanding!
